Hotel de Paris Saint-Tropez
Saint-Tropez · Hotel
This is a five-star hotel in Saint-Tropez, and I highly recommend it if you're having THAT kind of trip. It's definitely très cher, mais when in Saint-Tropez! There's a rooftop pool, and each morning they have a breakfast buffet. Now buffet undersells it because it's all chef quality, and there's a beautiful little garden. What I also loved about staying here was the concierge. Like 1) they will drive you anywhere and 2) they can get you reservations at the nicest places last minute (at least that was the case for me).

This is THE beach club. Yes, the one that you see celebrities going to. I did not go during high season, so it was substantially less expensive to get a day bed and way less crowded. But I mean if you're going to Saint-Tropez in general, hopefully you're prepared to spend. Regardless, it was overall a relaxing experience; they had a live band during the lunch hour. I sang Adele with them. Overall it was a great experience and I will probably go back.

Be prepared for an experience when you come here. I got dragged up onto the stage, which was quite uncomfortable and so awkward for me because I literally didn't know what to do; I genuinely wanted to cry. Basically, while you eat, the performers come up onto the stage and put on a spectacle (this is not family-friendly btw). The food was good but so expensive, not just like okay pricey, like no, like you're paying a minimum $75 for anything on the menu. Overall recommend it because it's supposedly a staple, but make sure you get a reservation. We got ours through the hotel we were staying at.

So this is technically not Saint-Tropez proper. This is more of the "party scene" again because I didn't go during high season it was not SUPER crowded, but there was still definitely a crowd. But I do have a bone to pick with this place because we made our reservation months in advance and then they acted like we did not, and of course, were super rude to us, then sat us in the sun. Despite the trouble, the views were absolutely gorgeous. I think I'd need to come back again to really give it a proper rating.
